I once had someone come up to me at a party and said these words to me “You look like you have it all together.” To be quite honest I didn’t know how to respond – life at that moment wasn’t all together.

I was a new mom to a 9-month-old at the time and struggled with my new mom body with stretch marks and the extra weight. A full-time step-mom to a 10-year-old child who was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome just a year earlier. Juggling doctor’s appointments, step-son’s homework and school, and not to mention court dates settling child custody and child support in our favor. All the while me and my husband having day jobs.

Fast forward to now, I’m now working from home, I have a dramatic toddler (whom I like to call a three-nager), and a homeschooled teenager.

Life doesn’t get any easier, it just unravels and unfolds, and you adjust. Follow me on this crazy ride as I figure life out because nobody really knows what they’re doing.
